White Chocolate Cake Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Dipping chocolate or real |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Margarine |
2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Sugar |
Eggs | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
2 1/2 cups | 156g / 5.5oz | Cake flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1 cup | 237ml | Buttermilk |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Pecans - chopped |
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Coconut |
Mix all cake ingredients, adding baking soda and flour last. Don't over- beat after adding flour and buttermilk. Pour into two 9-inch or one 9x12-inch cake grease and floured cake pan.
Bake at 350F 35-40 minutes.
Icing: 1 stick margarine 1 pound powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 8-oz cream cheese cream or half and half Cream all ingredients together, gradually adding cream until spreading consistency.
