Pork Burritos Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Oil |
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Pork - cut in 1-in. Cubes |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (large) |
1 | Red bell pepper - diced | |
1 | Green bell pepper - diced | |
2 | Garlic - minced | |
1 | Fresh jalapeno pepper - minced * | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cumin |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cider vinegar |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
2 | Green chiles - chopped (4 oz. Each) |
* or 3 canned jalapeno peppers.
Brown pork in oil. Add rest of ingredients EXCEPT GREEN CHILES and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Add green chiles before serving.
