| 1 cup | 237ml | Oil |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Water |
| 1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Cocoa |
| 2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Flour |
| 1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Brown sugar |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Sour milk |
| Icing | ||
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Milk |
| 1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Cocoa |
| 4 cups | 792g / 27oz | Powdered sugar |
bring to a boil 1 cup oil, 1 cup water and 1/2 cup cocoa.
Mix together and add to the boiled mixture, the brown sugar, flour and soda.
Add in eggs and sour milk. Stir well. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan (10 x 15 inches).
Bake at 350F f for 20 minutes.
Mix together the icing ingredients.
Bring to a boil and pour over hot cake.
