Sugarless Banana Walnut Cake Recipe - Cooking Index
2/3 cup | 157ml | Bananas - mashed |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter - softened |
3 | Eggs | |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | All-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cinnamon |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Water |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Walnuts - chopped |
In a mixing bowl, beat the bananas and butter until creamy. Add the eggs and beat well.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; add to banana mixture alternately with water, beating well after each addition. Stir in nuts.
Spoon into a greased 9-inch square baking pan.
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool.
