Sour Cream Banana Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter (1 stick) |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
2 | Eggs | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla extract |
1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | All-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 cup | 237ml | Bananas (about 3) - mashed |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Pecans or walnuts - chopped |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Sour cream |
Cream the butter with the sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients; mix.
Add the bananas -- mashed, nuts and sour cream.
Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350F for 1 hour.
