Soft Chocolate Frosting and Filling Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Potato starch - (or corn starch) |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1 cup | 237ml | Boiling water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Chocolate chips - (6 oz) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla - or pkg vanilla sugar |
Mix sugar, starch, and salt, add boiling water.
Cook, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil, boil one minutes and remove from he at. Stir in chips until smooth.
Stir in margarine and vanilla. Spread while warm.
If using vanilla sugar, add with the regular sugar.
