Quick and Easy Chocolate Frosting Recipe - Cooking Index
3 oz | 85g | Hershey's baking chocolate - (unsweetened), |
Broken into pieces | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Miniature marshmallows |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Milk |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine - softened |
2 1/2 cups | 495g / 17oz | Powdered sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Vanilla extract |
In medium saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate, stirring constantly.
Add marshmallows; stir frequently until melted. (Mixture will be very thick and will pull away from sides of pan.)
Spoon mixture into small mixer bowl; beat in butter. Add milk very gradually, beating until smooth.
Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat to desired consistency.
Makes about 2-1/4 cups frosting.
