Picadillo Soup - 1

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlOlive oil
1 lb 454g / 16ozGround pork
2   Garlic - crushed
1   Onion - chopped (large)
1   Tomato - chopped
2 tablespoons 30mlSoy sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlSugar
2   Potatoes - peeled and diced
5 cups 1185mlWater
1   Spinach
  Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Instructions

In a large pot, saute the garlic, onion and tomatoes till transluscent. Add the sugar and fish sauce.

Scramble-fry the ground beef till brown, then add 5 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then add the potatoes.

Turn the heat down and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the spinach and cook for 10 more minutes.
