Orange Chocolate Crunch Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Orange sections about 6 oranges |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Orange juice |
2 | Eggs | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Almond extract |
1 2/3 cups | 104g / 3.7oz | Flour |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Walnuts - chopped |
6 oz | 170g | Semi sweet chocolate chips |
Preheat oven to 350F. Peel and section oranges. Cut sections into small pieces.
Combine the orange pieces and orange juice. Beat eggs and add oranges, vanilla and almond extract. Mix well.
Sift dry ingredients together and add all at once.
Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
Combine the brown sugar, chocolate chips and nuts. Sprinkle on top of cake.
Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes.
