No Cholesterol Chocolate Cake Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking soda |
8 tablespoons | 120ml | Cocoa |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Mayonnaise* |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
* lite or cholesterol-free
Mix together dry ingredients in a bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and mix on high speed with electric mixer for 3 minutes.
Pour into pan (one 9x13 or two 8" layers) sprayed with nonstick coating and bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
NOTE: from the teacher that submitted this. "We also bake it in ice cream cones, 30 seconds each in the microwave; top with ice cream."
