1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Butter (no substitutes) |
1 2/3 cups | 329g / 11oz | Sugar |
5 | Eggs | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Cake flour |
Cream butter and sugar.
Drop in eggs one at a time, stirring after each.
Fold in flour and mix well. Add vanilla.
Bake in 350F over for about 50 minutes.
