| 1 | Instant pudding coconut mix or pineapple cream pudding | |
| 10 oz | 284g | Lemon-lime soda |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Cooking oil |
| 4 | Eggs | |
| Frosting | ||
| 1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Sugar |
| 2/3 cup | 41g / 1.4oz | Flour |
| 2 | Egg yolks | |
| 1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Flaky coconut |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine |
| 15 oz | 426g | Crushed pineapple - not drained |
Combine cake mix, pudding mix, lemon-lime soda and oil; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Pour into greased and floured 9x13" baking pan.
Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes.
FROSTING: In saucepan mix sugar, flour and pineapple until flour is moistened.
Stir in egg yolks, coconut and butter. Cook until very thick. Spread over cake while both are hot.
