Guinness Cheesecake Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Cream cheese | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | White sugar |
1/4 | Guinness extra stout | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
I mixed this all up, but it seemed a little thin, so I added 2 tbs of flour (it may need more, and finally) 2 eggs.
I poured this into a 'nilla wafer crust, but I suggest you use a Springform pan because it will rise.
Bake at 350F for about 40 minutes.
It tastes pretty good, but it doesn't hold together all that well. Next time I'll try an extra egg.
The cheesecake comes out a pale tan. You might be able to mix it with a chocolate cheesecake mix for a "black and tan".
