| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soft margarine |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar replacement |
| Egg - beaten | ||
| 1 1/4 cups | 78g / 2.8oz | Flour |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking powder |
| 6 tablespoons | 90ml | Skim milk |
| Apple - peeled, chopped |
Cream margarine and sugar replacement; add egg. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spoon into greased muffin tins, filling no more than two-thirds full.
Bake at 400F for 25 minutes, or until done.
For those who like spices, you may add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves to the mix - just a dash of each.
