Mexican Sweet Bread

Recipe Ingredients

1   Egg and 2 yolks
100   Preserved fruit*
6   Spoonfuls of sugar
100   Grape raisins without seed*
100   Cream of milk
100   Nuts*
50   Yeast of beer
100   Almonds*
1   Glass of lukewarm milk
100   Pine nuts*
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
100   Shortening melted in total
1   Spoonful of orange blossom water
1   Cdita of essence of vanilla
350   Flour
150   Maizena

Recipe Instructions

(*) To election, approximately 300 grs.

Preparation: 1 - to dissolve the yeast in some lukewarm milk and to allow to rest about 20 min.

2 - to beat the egg with the yolks, the sugar and the cream of milk

3 - to sift meetings the flour and the cornstarch, and to go the adding little by little to the preparcion 2 alternating with the preparation 1.

4 - to work well the mass with the hands until this very flat one.

5 - to allow to rest the mass in a temperate place, until it reaches the one bend (+ or -) of their volume.

6 - to chop the fruit to the wanted size and to GO IT BY FLOUR (important so that she/he doesn't leave to the bottom of the mass) and to incorporate it to the mass after she/he has gotten up.

7 - to put in the molds for sweet, buttered and floury bread and to let that 50% increases but of its volume.

8 - to paint them with sugary water (2 spoonfuls in 1/4 of cup of water boiling)

9 - to cook in hot oven until this gilding and cooked for inside of (to sink a clean knife in the means, if this cooked, it will leave clean)

10 - to cool and to sprinkle with impalpable sugar.

7 - If one doesn't have mold for sweet bread, to make two buns with the preparation and to place them on a buttered badge and floury. Then it continues equally

8 - If one wants you it can spread some the fruit itched for the preparation on the surface of the sweet bread
