Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozRound steak
2 tablespoons 30mlLard
2   Potatoes - sliced
8   Green chiles - roasted & peeled
2   Onion - sliced (small)
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozTomatoes - cooked
1   Garlic - finely chopped
1 tablespoon 15mlVinegar
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlPepper
1 tablespoon 15mlFlour

Recipe Instructions

Rub vinegar on both sides of the meat. Pound in garlic, salt, pepper, and flour. Cut into small pieces. Brown in hot lard. Cook until meat is tender. Add vegetables, season to taste. Cover. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
