Chocoholic Brownies Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter |
4 oz | 113g | Baking chocolate - (4 squares) |
2 | Eggs | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Flour |
1 1/4 cups | 247g / 8.7oz | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Nuts - chopped |
Preheat oven to 350F
In a small saucepan, melt butter; remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate. Cool completely.
In a small mixer bowl, beat eggs and vanilla. Gradually add sugar, beating until pale yellow. Blend in chocolate mixture.
Gradually add flour and salt. Stir in nuts. Spread in a greased 8 inch square pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until done. Cool completely in pan.
Cut into 2 inch squares.
Makes 16 brownies.
