Cherry Cheesecake Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Graham cracker crumbs |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Margarine - melted |
24 oz | 681g | Cream cheese - softened |
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
3 cups | 594g / 20oz | Eggs (large) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 | Cherry pie filling |
Combine crumbs and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch Springform pan.
Bake at 325F for 10 minutes.
Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
Add eggs, one at a time mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla; pour over crust.
Bake at 450F for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250F and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes or until set.
Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
Top with pie filling just before serving.
