Mexican Potatoes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Potatoes - mashed, coarsely |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onion - diced |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Tomatoes - diced |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Fresh ground black pepper - to taste |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Hot chile ppowder - to taste |
Salt to taste | ||
1 | Garlic - pressed or minced |
Fry all ingredients, except potatoes, together for 5 minutes or until they are clear and tender. You may add oil or butter to your taste. Add potatoes, fry until heated through. Garnish with shredded cheese.
