1 | Eagle brand condensed | |
Milk - (not evaporated) | ||
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine or butter |
1 | Caramels | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Coarsely pecans - chopped |
Reheat oven to 350F. Prepare cake mix as package directs.
Pour 2 cups batter into greased 13x9-inch baking pan; bake 15 minutes.
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels and margarine.
Remove from heat; add condensed milk. Mix well.
Spread caramel over cake; spread remaining cake batter over caramel.
Top with nuts.
Bake 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool.
