1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
Topping | ||
10 tablespoons | 150ml | Brown sugar |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Melted butter |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Heavy cream |
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Coconut - shredded |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
Oven at 350F. Grease and flour and 8 x 8" pan.
Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour and baking powder.
Bring milk and butter to a boil and mix with batter mixture. Pour into pan and bake for about 30 minutes.
Mix topping ingredients and spread and cake while it is still warm. Broil until topping is bubbly and warm. 10 servings.
