Banana Nut Cheesecake - 1 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chocolate wafer crumbs |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Margarine - melted |
16 oz | 454g | Cream cheese softened |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Mashed ripe bananas |
2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Eggs (large) |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Walnuts - chopped |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Milk chocolate chips |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Margarine |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
Combine crumbs and margarine; press onto the bottom of a 9-inch Springform pan.
Bake at 350F for 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese, sugar and banana, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in walnuts, pour over crust.
Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. Loosen cake from rim; cool before removing rim pf pan. Melt chocolate pieces and margarine with water over low heat, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over cheesecake. Chill.
