Apple Dump Cake Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Apple pie filling |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1 | Crushed pineapple - drained | |
1 | Yellow cake mix | |
1 | Coconut - flaked | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Pecans - chopped |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Margarine |
Grease a 9 x 13 pan with oil or food spray. Dump ingredients in pan in order given. Slice margarine into pats all over top of cake.
Bake in 350F for about 50 minutes. Cut in small squares, or spoon out. Can be eaten hot or cold, but best served warm from oven with vanilla ice cream. Serve cold with whipped cream or topping.
Add 1 cup raisins and a sprinkle of nutmeg to apple filling OR substitute fruit pie filling of your choice OR mix 1/2 apple filling and 1/2 cherry filling.
