Apple Dapple Cake Recipe - Cooking Index

1 teaspoon | 5ml | Soda |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla |
3 cups | 711ml | Apples |
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Coconut |
1 cup | 237ml | Pecans |
Topping | ||
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Brown sugar |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
Heat oven to 325F. Grease a tube pan. Mix oil and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, flour, soda, vanilla, and salt. Beat with electric mixer until well blended and mixture is stiff. Stir in apples, coconuts, and pecans. Spoon into cake pan, bake for 1 1/2 hrs.
Topping: Mix all ingredients well. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes Pour over hot cake.
