Creole Rice Recipe - Cooking Index
4 cups | 948ml | Water |
Salt to taste | ||
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Converted rice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
Fresh ground pepper to taste | ||
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Tabasco sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and add salt. Add rice and stir well.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain rice in a colander and return to saucepan.
Add butter, pepper, Tabasco sauce and lemon juice, and blend mixture well.
