Creole Fish Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Red snapper - boned/shredded |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Shelled shrimp - diced |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Minced onion |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Diced potatoes |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Cooked strained tomatoes |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter or margarine |
1 | Bay leaf | |
Salt | ||
Cayenne pepper | ||
6 cups | 1422ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
1. Combine all ingredients except lemon juice in large saucepan.
2. Simmer 40 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
3. Add lemon juice; stir and serve.
