Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil - or vegetable oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lime juice - fresh - (or lemon juice) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Red wine vinegar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Sour cream - or plain yogurt |
4 oz | 113g | Blue cheese - in small pieces |
Salt - to taste | ||
Louisiana hot sauce - to taste - (or cayenne pepper) |
In a small mixing bowl, beat together the oil and mayonnaise until completely blended.
Add the lime juice and beat some more. Then add the vinegar and beat again.
Add the sour cream, blue cheese, salt, and hot sauce, and stir well. Serve over your favorite salad.
This will keep in the refrigerator several weeks.
