Crawfish Pies Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Crawfish tails |
1 | -- green onions | |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Flour |
1 | Cream of mushroom soup | |
1 | Cream of celery soup | |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Butter |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sherry - to taste |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
16 | Pastry shells |
Melt butter over medium heat. Chop green onions fine and cook in melted butter for 5 minutes.
Add flour and blend until bubbly.
Add mushroom and celery soups and continue to cook for 5 minutes longer.
Add crawfish tails with juice, sherry, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until warm.
Fill pastry shells and serve.
This recipe serves 16-20.
