Lavanda's Spicy Mexican Beef Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Ground beef (as for tacos) |
3 | Garlic - minced | |
1/2 | Onion - chopped fine | |
1 | Rotel tomatoes | |
1 | Cream cheese | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chile powder |
Sautee the meat and add the garlic and onion and chile powder. Cook until meat is done.
Drain well. Transfer meat into a glass microwave save dish. While meat is still warm, mash in the cream cheese.
Drain the tomatoes and add them to the meat/cheese mixture.
Mix all well, place in the microwave oven and heat again for about 3 minutes until hot and bubbly.
Before scarfing it down, let it cool a little. Eat with Fritos (dip size or scoops), or serve in heated flour tortillas.
It is so rich but delish. I have caught people sneaking spoonfuls instead of DIPPING it!!!
