Broken Shrimp Jambalaya Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Broken shrimp - (cooked) |
1 cup | 237ml | Peanut oil |
4 | Onions - chopped | |
5 | Garlic | |
2 | Shallots | |
1 | Bell pepper - chopped | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Paprika |
Red - black, white pepper | ||
Salt | ||
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Smoked sausage |
5 cups | 1185ml | Water |
Heat oil, add onions, garlic, shallots, bell pepper, smoked sausage, paprika, salt, and peppers and saute well. Add shrimp pieces, rice and water.
Bring to boil, cover, and over very low heat, steam for 20 to 25 minutes. Stir with fork and replace cover.
