Barbecue Sauce Au Justin

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups 125g / 4.4ozOnion - chopped
1/2 cup 118mlWine vinegar
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozBell pepper - chopped
4 teaspoons 20mlSalt
1/2 cup 118mlOlive oil
1/4 cup 59mlLouisiana hot sauce
2 tablespoons 30mlGarlic - chopped
1 1/2 cups 355mlDry red wine
2 cups 474mlKetchup
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlCelery seed
2 tablespoons 30mlParsley - dried
1 cup 237mlSteak sauce
2 tablespoons 30mlLemon juice

Recipe Instructions

Saute onions and bell pepper in olive oil. Add garlic, wine and the rest of the ingredients.

Bring to a boil. Cover, then cook over a low fire for at least 2 hours.

Use on finished barbecue, NOT AS A BASTING SAUCE.

This is garontee to warm the belly.
