Sesame Beef Ribs Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Green onions - finely chopped | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic - minced |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Soy sauce |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Dark sesame oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Rice wine vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sesame seed |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Pepper |
4 lbs | 1816g / 64oz | Trimmed ribs |
Prepare marinade by combining green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, sesame seed, sugar, mustard, pepper. Score ribs almost to bone every 1/2 inch. Rub in marinade, cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Turn ribs several times to marinate evenly.
Prepare fire for direct heat method of cooking. Remove ribs from marinade and reserve marinade. Allow ribs to come to room temperature.
Place ribs on grill over hot fire and close lid. Turn ribs several times during cooking and baste with the reserved marinade. Ribs are done when they have a crispy exterior (about 15 minutes).
Serve immediately.
