Ribs In Pepper-Sauce (Adla'l-Bagar Ma'salsat Filfil)

Recipe Ingredients

2 1/2 lbs 1135g / 40ozOx-ribs
1 1/4 lbs 567g / 20ozRed peppers
2 lbs 908g / 32ozOnions (large)
5 tablespoons 75mlOlive-oil
1 tablespoon 15mlSumach
1 teaspoon 5mlMarjoram
1 teaspoon 5mlMacis (nutmeg)
  Pepper - black
  Salt
1   Water

Recipe Instructions

Chop the ribs in pieces of 2 inches long, wash and let dry.

Fry them slightly, add spices and water. Let cook on little heat for 1 1/2 hour.

Cut peppers and onions in slices, add to the ribs and let cook for another 1/2 hour.

To serve with rice or potatoes.
