Lisa's Hamburger Soup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground chuck |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
6 | Peppercorns | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Thyme |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt |
1 | Bay leaf | |
1 | Chopped tomatoes | |
4 | Celery tops - chopped | |
6 sections | Parsley | |
4 | Carrots - sliced | |
2 | Beef consomme | |
3 | Water |
Melt the butter. Add the onions and cook until translucent then add ground chuck and continue to cook until browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 45 minutes.
Then all ya "KNEAD" to go with it is a piping hot loaf of bread from the B/M!
