Frozen Guacamole Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Avocados - (2) |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onion - finely chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Canned chile peppers - chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tomato - peeled and chopped (medium) |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | White vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
Halve avocados lengthwise, remove pits and peel. Mash avocado in bowel with potato masher. Add onion, chile pepper, vinegar and salt, mix well.
Place in plastic freezer container and cover lightly and freeze. To serve, let thaw, finely chop tomato, stir into avocado mixture. Serve with raw vegetables, cooked shrimp or chips.
Note: excellent fresh and good after frozen.
