1 | Lemon - juice of | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Balsamic vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sambuca liqueur |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh basil - chopped |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Black pepper - freshly ground |
Salad | ||
2 cups | 474ml | Cooked black eyed peas |
1/2 | White onion - chopped | |
1/2 | Red bell pepper - diced | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped fresh basil |
Combine ingredients for dressing.
Mix with salad ingredients and rest at least half an hour before serving.
Season if desired.
