Fried Broad Beans Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 320g / 11oz | Shelled beans - (broad beans or lima beans) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil |
Salt and pepper - to taste |
Heat olive oil with 2 tablespoons water. Fry beans until tender.
They will quickly absorb water and should be done in 10 to 15 minutes.
Before serving, mix in 2 tablespoons butter and season to taste with salt and pepper.
