Peanut Dipping Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Peanut butter - chunky |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Plum jam or apricot-pineapple preserves |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon or lime juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Plum wine |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hot chile vodka or |
Prepared hot sauce - (Tabasco) |
Combine ingredients, except chile vodka, in a Pyrex bowl. Mix well and place bowl in microwave for 30-60 seconds, watching carefully so mixture doesn't boil over. Remove from microwave and stir in chile oil or hot sauce. Allow to cool.
Serve as an appetizer as a dipping sauce for vegetables and fruit. Such as: green onions, asparagus, carrot sticks, celery sticks, sliced apples, fresh mushrooms, etc.
Always a big hit at parties.
