Peanut Butter Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Crunchy peanut butter |
1 | Onion - minced | |
1 | Minced lemon - grass | |
1 cup | 237ml | Coconut milk |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili powder |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Nam pla (Thai fish sauce) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Heavy soy sauce |
Bring the sauce to a boil. Remove from the heat and pour into small bowls to serve with satays.
Note: you can substitute a green onion or lemon zest for the lemon grass.
