Parmesan Cheese Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | All-purpose flour |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Half and half |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Water |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Chicken bouillon granules |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Parmesan cheese - freshly grated |
Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir flour into hot butter and blend well.
Gradually stir in half-and-half 1 1/2 c. water and bouillon. Stir constantly until thickened.
Stir in cheese and heat until melted. Serve over baked or poached fish or pasta.
