No-Cook Tomato Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Tomatoes - diced (large) |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Chopped fresh basil |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Olive oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated parmesan cheese |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Pepper |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Spaghetti |
Combine tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, olive oil, Parmesan, salt and pepper in large bowl.
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package directions.
Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid. Add pasta and reserved cooking liquid to tomato mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately.
