Mustard Sauce - 1 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar - packed |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Cider vinegar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Mustard powder |
1/4 tablespoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1 | Black pepper | |
1 | Cayenne pepper | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Cornstarch |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Cold water |
Combine all ingredients, except cornstarch and water, in saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Dissolve cornstarch in water.
Blend in and cook until sauce clears and thickens..
Serving Ideas : Serve with ham or corned beef.
