Mexican Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 cups | 474ml | Tomato juice |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Onion flakes |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Garlic powder |
| 1 | Instant beef bouillon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cumin |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Chili powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Basil leaves |
| 1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Red wine vinegar |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sweetener - to equal 2 t. |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan except sweetener and oregano. Simmer uncovered until reduced to half original volume.
Add sweetener and oregano, simmer an additional 5 minutes. Divide evenly into 2 parts.
