Maple Cranberry Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
12 oz | 340g | Fresh cranberries - (1 bag) |
Well washed | ||
1 cup | 328g / 11oz | Maple syrup |
1 cup | 237ml | Cranberry-raspberry juice |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Walnut halves |
Grated zest of 1 orange |
Maple Cranberry Sauce Combine cranberries, maple syrup, juice and orange zest in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat to medium, and cook about 10 min. or until the cranberries pop open.
Carefully skim off any foam that forms on the surface. Stir in walnuts. Cool. Refrigerate until use.
Recipe may be doubled, and made a day or so ahead.
