Maple Cherry Syrup Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 492g / 17oz | Maple syrup |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar - brown, packed |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Honey |
2 | Orange - juiced w/1tsp. Peel | |
2 | Lemon - juiced w/1tsp. Peel | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter/margarine |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon - ground |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Cherries - tart, dried, chopped |
Combine maple syrup, brown sugar, honey, juices and grated rind in medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes.
Add cherries, cook 2 minutes. Serve over pancakes, waffles, etc.
