Lemon-Tarragon Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon rind - grated |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh tarragon - chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Balsamic vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Shallot - peeled and minced (small) |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt - optional |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Fresh ground black pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic clove - peeled and minced (small) |
2 1/2 tablespoons | 37ml | Olive oil |
To make the sauce, place the water, lemon rind, tarragon, vinegar, shallots, salt, pepper, garlic and 2 1/2 tablespoon oil in a small bowl. Mix well. (You should have about 1/2 cup.)
Serve over fish
