Lemon Sauce (Pauline's) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Lemon juice |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Corn starch |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
Put water and sugar in sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Dissolve cornstarch in lemon juice and add to boiling water-sugar mix.
When sauce thickens, remove from heat and stir in butter.
This sauce is great on gingerbread.
