2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion minced (medium) |
3 cups | 711ml | Tomato sauce |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
3 | Garlic - minced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chile powder - or more |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
Saute oil and onions in heavy saucepan. When onion is just yellow, not brown, add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer at least 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Put in blender.
