Green Onion Confetti Topping

Serves: 8 people

Recipe Ingredients

2 teaspoons 10mlVegetable oil
1 tablespoon 15mlMinced peeled gingerroot
2 1/2 cups 156g / 5.5ozSliced green onions - (1-3 medium)
1/4 cup 59mlWater
1 teaspoon 5mlReduced-sodium soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlSalt
1   Ground red pepper
1 tablespoon 15mlFresh lime juice
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped fresh cilantro

Recipe Instructions

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add gingerroot; saute 30 seconds. Add green onions; saute1 minute. Add water and next 3 ingredients; saute 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients. Yield: 1 cup (serving size: 2 tablespoons).
