Golden Mushroom Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Mushrooms - sliced | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Flour | 
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Chicken bouillon | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice | 
| Salt and pepper | ||
| Slivered almonds - optional | 
Saute' the mushrooms in the butter for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with flour and mix well. Add the bouillon and cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in the lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Add a few almonds if desired. Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
NOTES : Perfect for serving over hamburgers or meat loaf.
